Wayne Mazur recently won a New York State precedent setting custody relocation case in June, 2015 in the matter of R.E. v. B.E., Supreme Court, New York County (J. Gesmer), where after nearly 3 year long acrimonious and bitterly fought matrimonial action, and a 6 day custody/relocation trial, with personal and expert testimony, Justice Gesmer granted the Wife/Mother’s application to allow her and the 2 minor children to permanently relocate to Israel -- -- a relocation of such a distance and destination never before permitted in any Court in New York State jurisprudence. The Husband/Father’s immediate appeal and application to the Appellate Division first Department to stay that Order and/or direct the Wife/Mother and the children to return to New York pending appeal was in all respects denied by the Appellate Division.
